MORSE TRANSMIT PRACTICE - ALT+F10
Morse Transmit Practice is used to practice sending morse code.
The average morse letter speed, total morse transmit speed and average
Dit to Dah ratio are displayed at the top of the screen. The volume and
tone of the morse can be controlled from the keyboard. Exit the session by
pressing ALT+X.
This option has been designed for manual morse transmit practice
in the range of 10 to 20 words per minute. Steady rhythmic sending will
produce the best results. The symbols sent will be recorded to file if
more than 50 are transmitted. This file will be saved to the MARKED
directory. At the end of the sounding, the number of characters sent,
total speed and Dit Dah ratio will be recorded to the results file.
A carriage return is forced by the BT symbol after 60 symbols.
Transmit Errors.
Transmit errors occur when an invalid sequence is transmitted.
The QUESTION MARK (?) symbol will denote an invalid sequence.
